Students in Frankfurt am Main automatically pay a contribution for the digital AStA semester ticket with their semester fee. 

For certain reasons, an application for a refund of the AStA semester ticket fee can be submitted to the Hardship Fund Office of the Studierendenwerk Frankfurt am Main. With the refund the authorisation to use the AStA semester ticket expires and the QR/Aztec code becomes invalid.

The Harship Fund administration is led by the Studierendenwerk Frankfurt am Main on behalf of the Goethe University AStA. The Hardship Fund Office can answer any questions you may have about the reimbursement.
